My thought at this time is to book a straight line more or less to Albuquerque and then visit some places in New Mexico and Arizono that are of interst to me. I then plan to leave my car in Tucson or nearby in a storage unit and head to México. The following map is a rough map of what my route will look like based on my thoughts today. The map is based on a 'walking route' using google maps. My thought is to use this only as a guide - there is no way in hell that I will use this as an 'official' route.
